(More customer reviews)I thought the little gauze covers seemed a little silly, but I wish I'd bought more. They fit very securely on the feme pad and b/c they're gauze they keep it from sliding around and prevent most "stuff" from transferring onto the feme pad. Then you just remove the cover and throw away. The only downside is that it really is only good for about 20 min and takes 3 hours to refreeze, so if you think you might want them constantly, buy more. I just needed them to help get to sleep or after too much exertion post pardum.
