(More customer reviews)I routinely pump 4 to 6 oz from each breast and tried using the Avent bags. They at most can hold 4 oz for storage before they leak. The clips are insufficient to make a tight seal for freezer storage and the bags are not freezer grade, so you need to double bag. You can find these liners for $5 a box of 100, but I found I was using 8 bags a day to pump 8 to 12 oz, not very cost effective!
If you are formula feeding using a diposible system, these liner bags would be just fine but I got sick and tired of leaking or spilt milk and freezer burn so I switched brands of bags.
A better alternative would be the "Gerber Seal n Go Breast Milk storage bags". They are freezer grade plastic (no need to double bag, but I do suggest writing the expressed date & time on a label instead of the bag), have a self sealing zipper, self standing bottom and markings for up to 6 oz (but you can easily fit 8 oz and still have room for freezer expansion). These cost about $6 for 25. The Gerber bags fit all kinds of disposable systems for feeding. I would not use the Gerber bags with the disposable bottle for pumping as the treads cause the plastic to rip and that defeats the purpose of the seal.
