(More customer reviews)I first started pumping directly into the bags. We discovered pretty quickly the measurements are not accurate at all. Depending on how you open the bag the measurement can vary widely. If you open the bottom as wide as you can it will be closer but still the better part of an ounce off. What I do is pump into the ameda bottles to get the accurate measurement and pour into the bags. It really defeats one of the big selling points of the bag.
The 2nd drawback I've discovered is you have to open them very carefully the first time you go to use one. The ziplock part is so tightly zipped you have to open it forcefully but carefully still or you might rip it at the edge preventing it from sealing completely. I did this once not realizing it until that bag leaked and froze over the other bags.
I haven't had any further leaking issues besides the one. I'm happy with the quality of the bags and using them to store and freeze bags.
